Oneida Shores Polar Plunge to Take Place This Sunday!
Brewerton, NY – Over 35 teams and more than 325 people from all over Central New York are already signed up for the fifth annual Oneida Shores Polar Plunge for Special Olympics New York! The cold that Plungers will feel is only temporary, but the impact their efforts will have on Special Olympics athletes will last a lifetime! Last year, more than $70,000 was raised at this event, and with a significant increase in participants we are hoping to surpass last year’s total!
Plunge Day Events – Oneida Shores Park, Brewerton
December 4th | Registration at 9am, Plunge at Noon
- Tons of fun and entertainment for all ages!
- Food courtesy of Dunkin Donuts and Dinosaur BBQ for registered Plungers!
- A costume contest for the most unique team and individual costumes!
- Watch Plungers as they follow the Special Olympics Torch into the icy waters of Oneida Lake!
